Features Device Bridge

In the iOS and Android apps

The calendars that have no API

iCloud, Exchange and device-local calendars, bridged from your phone.

Some calendars never reach a server integration — a carrier work phone, an iCloud account, an Exchange calendar you can't OAuth. The Linemerge apps read the phone's own calendar store and upload busy intervals, so those calendars still block your availability.

Busy times only, by default

The same privacy rules apply: titles are uploaded only for calendars you explicitly mark public.

You pick which calendars

Per-calendar toggles on the phone. Nothing is bridged that you didn't select.

One source per calendar

If a calendar is later connected over OAuth, that becomes the source of truth automatically — no double-counting.

Best-effort, and honest about it

Snapshots run about hourly and whenever you open the app. The dashboard shows you when each phone last reported in.

This is a deliberate exception to the rule that syncing happens on our servers. It exists because a real person's availability lives partly on a phone that no API can reach.

Stop answering “when are you free?” by hand

Linemerge is onboarding a small group of people who run more than one line.
